Fanart for Detrah~

Detrah recently finished a gorgeous little comic strip called Little Wolf and Black Cat. It was such a wonderful little story, I've been wanting to do fanart for it for ages! Finally got the motivation, so here we have it. c:
I hope you like it, though I know it's far from perfect. Wish I'd been able to get the river better, if anyone has any tips I'd love them?!
It was especially hard as like a fool I did the entire background in one layer, so editing it's a little tricksy q:

Eeee I love iit! ;w; The scene is so pretty, and it kinda reminds me of the ending scene of the comic. Except this would be before their journey, I suppose. >v< This really gives a calming feeling when you look at it. Sort of quiet peace or something like that, hee hee. I think the river looks great too! <3
